I bought this unit as a gift for my parents. I couldn't be happier! The set-up was fast and easy, the unit monitors itself, and the plants grow VERY fast! My mom is a wonderful cook, so i got her the gourmet herb kit - she can't get over the fact that she has a constant fresh supply of herbs right on her counter. All she has to do is turn the light on and off. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
